Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started?

Reach out via email and Sydni will be in touch within two business days to schedule a free 15-minute consult call.

*All new inquiries must be received via email.

What Can I Expect At My First 1:1 Session?

If you think we may be a good fit after the initial 15-minute phone consult with your caregiver, let's meet & have you

come check out the space! The first session is a 30-minute “meet and greet” where we’ll get to know each other a

little bit, talk about Exerpsych’s unique approach and what it would look like for you. Intake paperwork is sent prior to

the first meeting via email (over a secure platform) and we will get you scheduled in a regular weekly time slot.

How long are 1:1 sessions and how are they structured?

The initial session is 30 minutes in length. Subsequent, in-person sessions are 50 minutes in length. Generally, each

session begins with the physical movement component. All virtual sessions are 30 minutes unless otherwise agreed

upon.

How frequent are 1:1 sessions?

We suggest weekly sessions for a minimum of 12 weeks. This amount of time allows us to build a relationship, trust

one another and delve into the work. As a team (you, me, caregivers) we will decide if goals have been met over the

course of 12 weeks or if it would benefit you to continue our meetings.

Can I see you 1:1 and be part of a group?

Absolutely! If you are interested in being part of a group, please send Sydni an email or check out the "Studio Groups"

page and complete the interest form there. Groups need at least 3 members to run.

Do you take insurance?

Given our unique approach, Exerpsych does not accept insurance. This allows us to have the greatest amount of

flexibility in our work together.

What if I can't make my session one week?

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you reach out via phone or email as soon you know you have a

conflict (minimum of 24 hours prior to your scheduled session time to avoid the cancellation fee). We will work

together to try to schedule you for an alternative time, ideally that same week.
